Before / After A new personality for traditional style exteriors

Before / After A new personality for traditional style exteriors

France has the largest pool of private pools in Europe, with 1.7 million private pools. If the French are champions of all categories in the matter, it is not always the same for the decoration of the garden, the aesthetics of which are sometimes perplexing. Having a swimming pool is undoubtedly a "plus" for your property ... you must however know how to enhance it! It is with this in mind that the owners of this traditional house called on the agency Les Nouveaux Paysagistes, after having completely rebuilt their traditional style house. They wanted a pool coordinated with their new home, as well as a garden suitable for outdoor living. A few sketches and several weeks of work put an end to this formerly dull space: the exteriors have adopted a new face to the delight of their owners! Global budget: € 43,000

Personalize the garden

Before : When the experts from the LNP agency visit this Alsatian property for the first time, the observation is clear: the house is completely old-fashioned, the garden does not really invite you to relax and the surrounding space is neglected. A very damaged fence separates the land from the street, while the other side of the garden is literally "eaten" by the immense hedges of surrounding thuja. There is no space dedicated to meals or relaxation, while the configuration of the exteriors largely leaves the space necessary to arrange a cozy garden and integrate a swimming pool. The latter is the great dream of the owners, who would like to be able to take their meals outside during the summer season, and enjoy an open pool to fully enjoy the garden.

After : Expressed wishes, granted wishes! The agency Les Nouveaux Paysagistes, specialized in the development of gardens and outdoor spaces, has imagined a design and friendly garden, totally exceeding the expectations of the owners. The swimming pool, placed at the heart of the new project, is now the star of the place. The cedars bordering the house were torn off, completely freeing up space while bringing a feeling of purity. Instead, Marie Eckenschwiller, designer in charge of the site, imagined a partition wall made of raw wood slats, which brings a warm and design touch to the garden while sheltering the owners from curious eyes. A wooden terrace, all high for a breathtaking view of the swimming pool, now extends the bay window that separates the kitchen from the outdoor dining room. The swimming pool is surrounded by natural stone slabs, extended lengthwise so as to offer a relaxation area composed of deckchairs. An outdoor shower and planters with very contemporary lines complete this harmonious set, perfectly in line with the new architect's house. Successful bet ! More info on www.nouveaux-paysagistes.fr
